We would love you to come and enjoy the festival and the great spring skiing that the Snwoy Mountains has to offer- make a mini holiday out of it, or just come for the fest- it's up to you- just make sure you come along to Australia's HIGHEST Short film festival.

Getting to the Flake Film Festival-NSW Snowy Mountains

Coming to the Flake Film Festival is not only a unique experience, it is a rewarding journey to the most beautiful alpine region and peaks Australia has to offer.
We urge that you take a few days away from your life, get some friends together or pack up the family and make a small holiday of it- and if you dont have time, just pop down for the night!You can easily get to the NSW Snowy Mountains by driving, flying or bus riding!


Driving

The drive to Jindabyne/ Snowy Mountains is an easy 5.5 hour drive from sydney. 2 Hour drive from Canberra and about 7 hours from Melbourne.


Flying

Qantas and Virgin Blue have a high frequency of daily flights to Canberra from Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne, with connecting flights from other capital cities www.webjet.com.au

Car rental facilities are available through Thrifty Car Hire in Cooma.You can also hire a car at Canberra airport for the 2 1/2 hour drive to the Snowy Mountains. Transfers from Canberra Airport to the resorts can be arranged through Greyhound and Transborder Coach Companies.

Bus riding

There are a variety of coach and bus service to get you here...

have frequent coach services from Sydney and Melbourne to the Snowy Mountains www.greyhound.com.au

Tr
ansborder Alpine Express offers a daily service from Canberra to Thredbo and return. Tickets are sold on the coach, however bookings and enquiries can be made to Transborder Express (office hours) 6241 0033.

Murray Coachlines
Provide a daily service to the Snowy mountains from Sydney and Canberra www.murrays.com.au

There are also several coach companies operate shuttle services from the Snowy Region Visitors Centre in Jindabyne to Perisher and Thredbo. For details, contact the Snowy Region Visitors Centre on (02) 6450 5600.
